I don't know how this project is usable in the real world, but interesting, isn't it?

Pawel Witkowski released an interesting jQuery plugin called Wilq32.RotateImage that lets you rotate images simply:

At once I tried to write new desktop widget platform in Linux using Webkit+Javascript such like Google Desktop widget, but that project I did not see the ends.
The SEED project has the same idea. I really want to see the final success of this project.
This kind of approach is very practical and have big potential possibilities, but the only thing I worry about this project, because GNOME is very isolated platform the SEED also that limitation. They need to overcome that barriers.

In ancient INTERNET days there were so many attempts to build the 3D or dynamic 2D in browser using javascript, I also tried, but it fails because it showed poor performance. I did not yet test this library, C3DL, so Icannot tellamy comment of the benefit by using this library.

Prototype is one of my must-use tools in web development, by it shows relatively slow response time and bad performance, compared to jQuery. The prototype development team also seems to know that problems, so after one or two release step later, I wish it will be the really MONSTER.
